Paw Focus Photography
Paw Focus Photography creates vibrant, colourful art that is bursting with personality, character, heart and soul. Our pet photography sessions are about creating and capturing memories so they may forever remain as true as the day they were made.
"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory"
- Dr Seuss
Welcome to Paw Focus Photography.
The inspiration behind this business came from my beautiful girl, Lucy. She walked by my side for 17 years, and when she passed, her photos became the most precious things I owned. They froze moments in time and allowed me to continue to see her pretty face and remember her funny little ways. I realised just how important it was to capture those special moments, funny quirks and silly expressions, so that when my memories fade, these images would remain.
Let's create memories!
How it works...
Your session will take place on-location - somewhere we will choose together. No stark white studio for us. No, it's all about the dirty great outdoors, toys, play and of course, treats! Let's have an adventure!
We'll start by getting to know each other and make sure the star of the show is comfortable with the camera. We'll then head off in search of colourful settings and beautiful light. Your pet does not have to be well trained to get great photos, they just have to be doing what they love. Sessions run from two to three hours and include up to two pets in one location. Shoot locations are within a 30 km radius of Melbourne CBD (Additional fees apply to locations outside of this area).
After the session, I'll add the finishing touches to create a beautiful collection of images for you to choose from. Your collection will be presented at the viewing session in Fitzroy and together we will select your favourite images for you to display.
Oh and the icing on the carob cake! Your little adventure will help those lonely paws who are waiting for their forever families. 10% of the session fee will be donated to the Victorian Dog Rescue and Resource Group (excluding special offers).
Every session is a chance to capture your pet's personality.
I’m a creative who wants nothing more than to give you memories of your pets that will last a lifetime.

The lady behind the lens
Scientist, photographer, crazy dog lady, creative, quality extraordinaire, foster mum, volunteer, luckiest lady in the world (well I think so anyway!).
Why am I so lucky you ask? Well, I've found a way to bring my two loves together into my passion business which is Paw Focus Photography.
I've combined my creative side with my love of animals, to not only create memories and capture those sweet faces and quirky personalities, but to also use my skills to help re home those lonely paws who have found themselves without a family.
Come and join me in this world of happy tails, sloppy kisses and unconditional love.
Really, what more could you want in life?
